Oceanfront views were stunning. The elevators were small and often slow, causing long wait times during busy periods.

The pool area is inviting and clean, perfect for relaxing. The elevators were frustratingly slow and small, which was inconvenient. Enjoyed the happy hour with great drinks and snacks.

I loved having direct access to the beach and being just a few steps from the boardwalk where you can find tons of restaurants and local shops, making it super convenient for a weekend stroll around town; plus, the pool and amenities were great for the family getaway. The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit small, but the cleanliness made up for it.

Direct beach access made every sunrise extra special! I loved biking along the shore and lounging by the heated outdoor pool. The brunch was a flavor explosion – I could eat that every weekend!
Would be happy to recommend! 🌊💖

Great location and staff. Overpriced with outdated facilities and major elevator issues.

Refreshing hotel, refreshing atmosphere with a pleasant smell throughout the main areas and a great location with direct beach access and plenty of convenient amenities.
Loved everything.

The oceanfront view from room 1005 was stunning, offering a beautiful panorama of the beach and pool area. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a much-needed restful sleep after long days. the bathroom amenities were lacking—shampoo and body wash were empty, and the kitchenette didn’t have any dishes or utensils. Temperature control was adequate, but the noise level from nearby areas and music was disruptive, especially with children. The balcony, while a nice feature, felt cramped and needed maintenance. Staff were friendly, though the limited elevators led to long waits during busy times.

I can't believe our bags got switched with another guest's! We waited hours for them and the staff couldn't care less. They just apologized and barely offered any compensation. It was a total mess, and we were left scrambling for our essentials!

The Plaza Resort & Spa boasts an unbeatable location in Daytona Beach, with easy access to the beach and local attractions. I appreciated the conveniences of an on-site bar and restaurant, making dining effortless.

The bar staff were friendly and knew a lot about local spots. I enjoyed the poolside food, it hit the spot after a long day.
It wasn't cheap, but worth every penny.

Location is fantastic. Beachfront views are stunning. The wristband key was a game-changer for access. The pool? Exceptional. Lobby ambiance impressive. Security felt tight with wristbands required for everything. Beds were comfortable after long days. service fell short. Long wait for check-in and a significant mix-up with our bags. Mistakes like this demand more than an apology and a $24 refund. A true gesture of goodwill was necessary. The facilities need attention. Elevators were inadequate and outdated. Despite positives, too many missteps overshadow the experience. Improvements are essential. I expect more for the price.

The pool area is fantastic and gets extra points for having attentive staff. I loved the lobby bar and the food options were solid, especially poolside.
The wristbands for everything are a total pain.

Had a cozy stay over xmas at a beachfront hotel. Loved the lively lobby atmosphere and the friendly valet service—the beach access right at the hotel's doorstep was a huge plus.
Parking fees caught me off guard, and the additional charges for resort fees were not initially disclosed. Rooms were a bit dated, with maintenance issues like broken balcony doors and uncomfortable beds.

Great location close to the beach and with friendly employees. The pool bar staff were awesome and the room view was nice even though not exactly what was expected. Having options to enjoy the pool and beach was a plus during the holiday season.
Room cleanliness was a major issue with dirt and hair everywhere. The parking situation was chaotic and costly.

The poolside food was excellent, and the staff at the bar were friendly, with Mike standing out. The views from the room were stunning, and it was clean and spacious. the parking situation was chaotic, with unexpected fees and limited space, leading to frustration. The sliding door in the room was broken, raising safety concerns, especially with children. A vape found in the sheets was unsettling. Communication about charges needs improvement, and the overall experience felt overshadowed by ongoing issues. It was nice, but I left feeling more than a little disappointed.

The hotel's beachy vibes were on point, perfect for my beach adventures. Easy access to attractions was a bonus. Loved the tasty food at 1888, pool time, and kids' menu at the restaurants and spa - really felt like a pampered child!
I just adored paying extra for everything! .

Our family had a blast at the resort with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained all day. From life-sized chess to kayaks and bicycles, there was never a dull moment. The basketball court was a hit with the kids too! It truly felt like a paradise for families looking for fun and adventure.
My wife says that more child-friendly pool hours could enhance the family experience.

We had a blast with the life, size chess set, cornhole, ping pong, hoops. It was a dream for us party, hungry teens.
Just one request , add a cool rooftop bar for nighttime hangouts under the stars! .

So, we recently stayed at The Plaza, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a mixed bag. On the upside, the lobby was absolutely stunning, with beautiful decor and live music creating a great ambiance. The location right on the beach was also a major plus for us, as we could easily access the water anytime we wanted. there were definitely areas that could use some improvement. The room we stayed in was not as clean as we had hoped it would be. The bathroom was quite small and appeared to have been patched up multiple times, which was a bit disappointing given the price we paid. the room had a stuffy smell, which seemed to be caused by old, damp carpeting. One thing that really grated on us were the hidden fees that seemed to pop up at every turn. From extra charges for key bracelets to mandatory security deposits per room, all the additional costs really added up and left a sour taste in our mouths. The valet parking situation was also a headache, with limited spaces and confusion about where to park. while The Plaza has some great amenities and a fantastic location, the cleanliness and hidden fees were definite drawbacks for us. We hope that the hotel management addresses these issues to provide a more seamless and enjoyable stay.

Our stay at The Plaza Resort in Daytona Beach was overall enjoyable. We checked in advance to ensure we got a room with an ocean view and balcony, and this time, everything was as requested. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel provided free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. The location was super close to the beach, making it convenient for us to enjoy the sun and sand.
The linen and towels were not as soft and cozy as we would have liked. We also encountered a problem with the Jacuzzi in our room, as it was not holding water properly.
